Council Message to Hope Regarding COVID-19

Due to the current state of the COVID-19 Outbreak, Hope Lutheran Church’s Council has been working tirelessly to keep the congregation safe and connected. Due to the required Social Distancing that is recommended by the CDC, WHO, California Government, and the ELCA, we are working as fast as we can to set up a digitally connected community. Options such as email, YouTubeFacebook, and a constantly updated Website with resources are priorities in order to keep you as informed as possible. We understand not everyone is technologically savvy, so we are trying to keep the process as simple and straightforward as possible.

One of the more direct ways we are maintaining contact is through phone calls. We will continue to make direct phone calls to each member individually, to check in and make sure everything is well, or to see if there is any way we can be of assistance.

There are also new policies regarding Pastoral care in the time of a pandemic. We have comprised a document outlining all the changes which you can find HERE on our website. We are also updating our website as quickly and constantly as possible.

Everything is changing on a day-to-day basis, but we are trying our best to make the transition as easy as possible. Thank you for your understanding and support while we let the dust settle.
