Finding a worship community can be hard. You may have experienced a painful moment in another church or religion. At Hope, we recognize we are imperfect beings and that many people are just hungry for a place where they are not just safe, but can grow. A place to call home. Come and give us a try. You just might find what you were hoping for.
Join us for a traditional Christmas Eve Service at either 7 or 9 p.m. We will sing carols, hear the beloved Nativity Gospel of Luke, celebrate communion together and close in candlelight.
A Christmas Worship
December 21st is the longest night of the year. It is symbolic of a sense of grief or pain that many experience during the holiday season. It is difficult to find joy in the midst of tears and pain. The Longest Night worship is a time to bless and be blessed, to find comfort and peace as the night loses the battle and the light begins to win again.
8 pm, candlelit service with communion
Advent. A time for waiting. A time for reflection.
Reflect with us at lunchtime, bringing your own lunch and considering the Advent Devotions from ELCA World Hunger. 12:00-1:00 pm in the conference room.
Reflect and Worship with us during Advent Evening Worship using the beloved Holden Evening Prayer order of service. 7:00 pm in the sanctuary.
May your days of pondering be fertile for the coming joy of Christmas.
